Re: 4 week post op yellow discharge?

Hi Ladies, hope we are getting over the really tough stuff. Doctor tells me to stay on stool softners daily for awhile. It really does help. Taking a pill is easy and it makes everything work better. I'm glad to know I'm not alone being tired. This recovery is taking longer than I thought.
Glad you are all there.

Re: 4 week post op yellow discharge?

I'm 4 months post-op and still have a yellowish discharge....any ideas? Surely it can't still be stitches.

To Kinclaven:

Not sure being your 4 months post-op. Could maybe be yeast infection. I am 4 weeks post op. I have a white milky discharge that when I wipe is yellow. Very discouraged. I'm guessing stitches. I go next week Thursday. Hopefully he can tell me. His nurses say it is normal. Not to me! I have taken 2 doses of yeast infection pills. Did you have this at 4 weeks post-op? I would talk to your doctor, which I'm sure you did. I guess it takes a long time for us to heal, GREAT

Re: 4 week post op yellow discharge?

I had one incident of white and yellow mucus like discharge at one day over three weeks. Just before 4 weeks, I had a couple little dabs of thicker yellow discharge. That was 6 days ago and I haven't had anything more since then. I saw the doctor for my 4 week checkup a couple days ago and he wasn't concerned about it. He examined me vaginally, said it was all good, and that it was ok to have intercourse.
