Whats wrong with me already

I am 36 and had an abdominal hysterectomy but kept left ovary and tube. Everything else is gone. I am 11 weeks post op. I am totally miserable. I have pain and my joints hurt. I cant sleep, I had blood in my bowels and now I have been nauseus for 4 days now and it doesnt stop. I really regret having this surgery. The doc told me my uterus was enlarged and he suggested a hyst. During the operation my heart stopped. I have no known heart problems. I called my Dr and he said it was hormonal that I should take a hot bath. Thats it. I am a wreck and have no answers. I have no desire to have sexual relations with my husband. I felt bad for him and gave in but the orgasm just seemed weak, It was there but not like it use to be. I honestly feel like crying. I dont want to live like this anymore. I dont like to leave the house because I have absolutely no energy. I still have pain all on my right side where everything use to be. I dont understand what that is. I feel if I call my doc again he will just think I am a cry baby. I am taking no meds at all. I called to see a new dr but my appt isnt until Oct 2. What can I do?

I am sorry you are feeling so miserable. Have you considered seeing your GP about your situation? Possibly your GP would have some suggestions and help for you. Blood in your stools is not a normal sign of recovery and should be checked out.

You could be having hormonal issues in that your ovary is taking a bit of time to get back into the swing of things. Your GP could possibly offer you meds to help in this area as well.

It does take time to recover and feel your best so you are not alone in not feeling 100% yet.

Hormones can do alot of things to your body. you arent that far out and pain is gonna be around for a bit coming and going. my joints hurt bad after surgery dr said it was from not using them as much as normal. after any hyst even with keeping your ovaries your ovaries wont work well right away and cause lots of hormonal problems. feel beter

you might need some hrt until your ovary starts working again. if you like your dr and trust him, i'd call back and ask if hrt is an option. i'm sorry you arent feeling well
