Re: Slight fever help!

Hi Jeanne, I would give your doctor a call. Your possible infection, could very well be one now and if it is, it's better to address if now than later.

Please keep us posted.

Lots of (((HUGS))) to you

Re: Slight fever help!

Do call your doctor. Be sure to tell him if you have any pain or discharge that is new or different. It sure could be a virus, but make sure you give him ALL your symptoms so he has a complete picture.
Drink plenty of fluids- it's necessary no matter what the issue! Hugs!

Re: Slight fever help!

Keep an eye on your temperature. Are you experiencing pain that might indicate an infection? Make certain you are drinking enough water...dehydration can cause fevers as well. Does ibuprofen bring your temperature down? When I was early in my recovery, my surgeon said to call her if my temperature was 100.4 or above twice in the day or if I couldn't lower it with ibuprofen. It would be a good idea to call your doctor during clinic hours or speak to a nurse about your temperatures and any other symptoms you are experiencing. I hope your temperature decreases and you feel better soon.
