ready to report to castle 6:00 am tomorrow

i am ready for my trip to the castle...........gowns, robe, tummy pillow, lip balm, etc. getting a bit jittery. hopefully my LAVH/bso will not turn into a TAH/bso (my biggest fear). doc says my LAVH/bso will be difficult due to lots of adhesions from prev. surgeries. guess i will find out when i wake up after! thanks for all your support/advice. i will check in periodically today to read the new posts.........for sure when i return from castle.

OOH have a lovely trip. Be sure to do something nice for yourself today *And throw in a pony tail holder in to the suitcase.

If you are all set to go , pop in to chat so we can start polishing your crown. For sure come in when you get home and are up to computer time and let us know how it went.

Don't forget to bring a toothbrush, toothpaste and maybe some hand lotion. I was on a morphine pump which made my arms extremely itchy and applying lotion was somewhat soothing.

Anyway, best of luck to you tomorrow! You will be in my thoughts for a successful surgery and smooth recovery.

You will be fine. Don't forget the lip balm. I know how you are feeling, the day before I was a basket case. My Dr. told me that when you get home think of yourself as a big lazy housecat. Just move from the bed to the couch to the chair. It was great advice and makes me laugh when I go from room to room. I will be praying for you, your Dr and the OR Team.
