Pain having sex after ablation

I had a Novasure ablation on April 18th. I was told to wait a month or when the discharged stopped before resuming with sex.
It is painful. The cervix hurts. It never hurt before. Is this something that will eventually go away? It has been almost 2 months since the procedure.

No, that isn't normal. You need to contact your doctor. I hope there is a simple solution.

I called. I have an appointment next week.
I wish the ablation worked but I have had two periods so far since and still in pain and now sex hurts. Not happy one bit.
6 months ago I would have never thought a hyster might be in my near future.

Hi. I was wondering what your outcome was to this as I am having the same issue: Pain in cervix during intercourse weeks after an ablation. I've never had this pain before. I do have a doctors appointment tomorrow.
