Anyone have bleeding w/ sex?

I'm already having a TAH next month, but suddenly I've started having bleeding w/ sex? no pain, just some 'fresh' blood, and it's not where near my cycle time. anyone experience this before? Not a lot of blood, but enough!

I ahve had that prob before and went to the dr for it. He told me i had a bacterial infection.I dont know if that is the case with you but get your dr to check it out for you before you have your surgery.Let me know what happens.........Glory

That was part of the reason for my TAH. Also had 14 day periods, and spotting.
I agree to mention it to the doctor, to be safe.
I didn't lose alot of blood, but would spot after sex for a day or so.

Yes, yes, Yes... Before I noticed anything else (except Periods were beginning to get a bit heavy),,, I asked my Dr. about some bleeding right after sex and sometimes a bit of spotting the next day.. She didn't seem very concerned and said it happens sometimes.. It doesn't happen every time or anything... Kathie

One of the big problems I had pre-op was bleeding with sex EVERY time. Talk about romantic. I did that for over 3 years. It was due to all the fibroids and polyps on my uterus. That should stop after surgery. Good luck!

i have had bright red bleeding with sex for some time. after a while i began bleeding between cyclesas well. i now bleed up to 4 weeks at a time. it seems to me that this all started during sex and has progressed. my doctor told me that it was due to my fibroid tumor on my uterous and that the bright red color was due to it unbancing my hormones.hope it is good news for you your doctor should reassure you about this
