husband thinks ive joined a cult

I just spent an hour reading the link that Catherine supplied earlier.
If you think this thread has been entertaining, you have GOT to read the other one.
It's got me thinking, though, how are all those sisters doing now?

I swear that this is one of the funniest threads that I have read thus far.. I told my fiance about this site and how wonderful it was and he acted Jealous almost like I was on the internet Chatting with guys trying to Cybersex someone.. LOL.. He said you have to be careful on the internet, people only want one thing.. I was like well all these people want is to share their experiences or learn from someone elses.. He said Precisley... LOL.. Now I think I know what his guilty concious does while I am not at home, he is cybering the babes on the internet... LMBO.. If it werent for this website, I would have done gone postal on someones arse.. NO DOUBT!!!

I must agree that this site has been a wonderful place to come to! My youngest daughter got the biggest charge out of this when I told her about it. She is quite a computer user and her comment was "well I always told you that you could find anything on the internet!" The information, the caring and the kindness I have found here has been truly wonderful. There are some days when I feel so overwhelmed with everything but I can come here and know that if I need it I can find someone who understands and can offer me comfort. Thanks ladies.

My dh was convinced that I was viewing male porn!

He is also usually the one to be on the computer, he actually owns a site that has a forum on it, so he is quite bummed that he can't get on here as much as he would like.

I have found this site to be a huge help during my recovery. I sort of stalked it prior to my surgery, not quite sure if I was going to actually join. I am so glad that I did. I don't know what I would do without all of you. You comfort me when I am scared and make me laugh so hard sometimes that I could pee my pants, but most of all you all truly understand what I am going through and I don't ever feel the need to explain everything to make you understand. It is wonderful!

Thank you all!!!

I seem to have lost my connection to this thread, so I am just getting back on.

OMG! I started reading "Its a CULT!!!!!" and it is hysterical! If we are in a cult, I don't have a problem wearing a toga, but being an Aggie I would prefer to wear Maroon to Orange. I sure hope that is not a problem for anyone.

OK... in all seriousness... my husband will ask me if I have checked in on my hystersisters if I have not logged in an a couple of days because he knows how important the support I get from y'all is to me.

Man can you guys all see all of us in our bright orange togas wearing sandals, holding carnations, chanting about hyst's and the lovely things that come after. Don't forget the migraines by the way. I think that people would be very curious about us. My dh doesn't ask to much about this site. He just lets me alone when I am on here. But right after my hyst was a differnt story. Love All Dawn

[quote=Payson] Too bad physicians don't refer their patients to this web site.[/QUOTE

When I mentioned on my pre-op appt how much great information and support was to be found here, my doc said that he had heard of it and thought it was a fantastic resource.

Hello all you gorgeous women out there around the world; I wanted to share this with you and if you have a 'special' guy in your life, let them know it applies to them too because they really are afraid to be 'gorgeous too' ! Whenever I read this I feel very very special because it's everything I really feel I am.

HOW TO BE AN ARTIST....

"Stay loose. Learn to watch snails. Plant impossible gardens. Invite someone dangerous to tea. Make little ‘yes’ signs and post them all over the house. Make friends with freedom and uncertainty. DREAM! Look forward to your dreams. Cry during movies. Swing as high as you can on a swing by moonlight. Cultivate moods. Be brave enough to love with all your heart. Do it for love. Take lots of naps. Give money away, do it now and more money will follow. Believe in magic. Laugh a lot! Celebrate every gorgeous moment. Take moonbaths. Have wild imaginings, transformative dreams and create time to do all the exquisite things you imagine. Draw on walls. Read everyday. Giggle with children. Talk nonsense. Listen to old people. Open up. Play. Sing quietly. Sing loudly with passion. Dance widly and wildy. Wiggle. Dive in. Be free. Bless yourself often. Play with everything. Squeeze your inner child. Be innocent. Build a fort with blankets. Get wet. Dance naked. Look at flowers. Write love letters. Have love. Write to friends. have belly laughs. Get wet, swim naked! Be feral. Notice the clouds. Appreciate your friends. Do it differently to how you’ve done it before. Talk to God. Celebrate life. Celebrate yourself! Play often....remember your gorgeousness!!!!"
