Zoladex not stopped cycle

Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone else had experienced a total failure of Zoladex. I was on it for 5 months and it didn't even slow my menstrual cycle down, let alone stop it. It gave me hot flushes and migraines though, but thankfully oestrogen HRT helped with that. It's worth mentioning that Ive had a Mirena coil for 4 years as my gynae to me that would stop my periods - it hasn't. All it's done is changed from flooding for 5-7 days to bleeding a bit less every single day!
Off to see the 2nd opinion gynae this week, so fingers crossed they can help.................
I'm 46, have PMDD, severe menstrual migraines lasting up to 9 days and I'm perimenopausal. If someone offered to take it all out with a rusty spoon I'd be willing to try it at this point!
