Hysterectomy: February 20th, 2009

Any other questions for pre-op appt?

I know there's a list here of questions to ask. Does anyone have any additional advice on what I should ask on Thursday? I am scheduled for a robotic hysterectomy on Feb 20th.

Surgery Type: LAVH

Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

Any other questions for pre-op appt?

Besides the Questions for your Pre-Op appointment list, you should be asking how your endometriosis will be removed and what the chances are that you will face recurrence. If you will also have your ovaries removed, you need to ask if HRT will be an option for you.
