Signed my paperwork this morning : )

I had my pre-admission paperwork appt. this morning. NO ENEMA NEEDED!!!!! I am going for my bloodwork on Monday morning.

I wasn't to thrilled to find out that they haven't heard anything from my insurance company. She showed me the fax that she sent them 6 weeks ago, but she didn't recieve anything back. She is calling them today and then calling me to let me know what's up with that. Like I need that to worry:hair:about.

I was amazed that a TVH is only $1750 and a TAH is $1850. Of course that's only that procedure, im sure the cost will much higher than that!

I won't know until the day before surgery what time I need to be there. I do know that his block of surgery time is in the morning. Im just hoping I don't have to be there at the crack of dawn. I want to be able to see the kids in the morning, and get them off to school.

Well, just wanted to fill all of you in. Take care, only 9 more days to go!!!

Tammie

Hi Tammie,
Sounds like all is going well, and I am sure your insurance will all be fine by the time your day arrives.
Lucky you no enema!!! Gotta like that!!!

I think they usually like you at the castle between 1 1/2 - 2 hours ahead, to get you ready for your OR time. I had to be there at 6AM for an 8AM surgery time. The time waiting goes really quickly as they keep you busy and you have to change, and usually will talk with the anesthesiologist and your doctor and OR staff sometimes before surgery as well.

All the best to you Tammie!!
Hugs
Maria
