Hysterectomy with Von Willardbrand

I have a bleeding disorder call Von Willardbrand and I have to go get a test dose of DDAVP on thursday. Im schedule for a hysterectomy on Feb 11. Im asking everyone to keep me in your prayer.

The more research I do on the Von Willardbrad and doing the hysterectomy is scaring me like crazy the more infomation I find the more I cry. But I feel like crap have the time cause of the lose blood counts and I get Iron infusion weekely and I just need to get this done and over with. So I can being to live again

i was curious...as it says you had your hysterectomy feb 11....i am having mine april 3....and i also have von willibrands disease. i was curious if you had any complications during or after your surgery. i almost died having my tonsils taken out when i was 7 years old...and also had a bad time when my first son was born...and had to have blood transfusions from both. i was given ddadp before i had my second son, and had no problems. were you given ddadp before your surgery? please let me know...this can be very scary! thanks so much for your help!!!
