Sebaceous cyst.. UGH!!

Told my doc that I had a weird swollen feeling at the entrance to my vagina during my 6 week exam friday and he just brushed it off.. It got to be more than just a nuisance over the weekend and today (first day back at work) I was so sore I couldn't sit down..

Went in to see the NP at my gyno's office at lunchtime today and, sure enough, I have a sebaceous cyst. I have had one before so I knew what it was once I started having pain.

I'm just really frustrated that my doc didn't bother to examine my labia properly on friday. He never even got close to the spot I was feeling.. AND now I have a painful cyst in a most inconvenient spot only 3 days after being cleared for sex...

I just got most of my girly bits cut out and now the rest of em wanna go on the fritz!! Well, I guess I will go soak in the tub (which was recommended by the NP) with a BIG glass of wine (which is being self prescribed). Cheers, ladies! A toast to the joys of womanhood!!
