Hysterectomy with rectocoele repair

Hi everyone,

I have a surgery scheduled for May 16th and I am not sure I want to go through with it.

It is a TVH with Rectocele repair, I know that I need to have the repair done and probably by all account should have the hysterectomy. All the women who find out that I have to have it done are like great wish I could do that.


But I have been trying not to have this done since the birth of my last child in 2005.

I have had to failed ablations and I consider that amount of blood I loose each month ok. I dont even mind the fact that I have to give myself injections because of the aniema anymore, but I am tired.


I dont want to lose out on my sex life, I really enjoy that part of my life and with the depression I have it is one of the few things I do have with my husband (privately). I think Im afraid and freaking out??

ANYone else have any ideas?? Should I do it?? Has anyone had experience they want to give??
