I'm scared

Not sure this is the place for this--it's a damper on all the success stories. I guess I’ve been gloating too much that I was healing fine--doc gave the go-ahead at 5 1/2 weeks post-op last week.
But I now feel a soft tissuey mass, and my estrogen ring is only ˝ a finger’s length from the opening. Yikes! I just emailed my doc telling him I’m scared. We tried to do the husband-wife thing last week at the exact 6 week mark, but it was no go—no room at the ‘in’. I was hoping that it was just still too sore in the area and that it would soon heal completely. The 'hot spot' feels like it did before, when the last stitch to dissolve was irritating the perineum. When I put the anti-fungal cream on that spot, it feels like I can push a small narrow stiff protrusion back into the side of the vaginal opening.

Anybody have problems like this? Not looking forward to the next exam.

Re: Got the ALL CLEAR today!

So sorry to hear you are having problems 60now! An interesting development for sure! Let us know what you Dr says about this, I hope it is a minor occurance.
You know, if it's not one thing its another! I went to the urgent care yesterday, I have developed superficial phlebitis lower left leg (blood clot) Thought I bumped it, but no brusing and lower leg swelled for a couple days and could not get it to go down with ice. Very sore to the ankle. I am 3 days over my 8 week mark for post-op. Now taking 1 low dose asperine daily and Advil 4 x a day for a few days with hot compresses. Hard to do this at work though. I have a call into my Dr to let her know.

Re: Got the ALL CLEAR today!

Thanks for the concern. Doc's email assured me that the tissues hadn't settled down yet, my surgery results were doing fine, not necessarily ready for intercourse. I got some hemorrhoid wipes, and they have soothed that area--and therefore everything else 'down there' feels much better. I am in a better frame of mind today.

Re: Got the ALL CLEAR today!

I used quilted Huggies baby wipe and I bought some Tucks wipes too due to discomfort after BM's. Worked like a charm! :-)
My wishes for continued progress! Have a great weekend everyone!
