It is over !!!!!

Hello to my sisters,
I havent posted in over a week because my computer was on the blink. I didnt get to post the day of my Pre-Op and before I went to the castle so I am posting everything now...LOL, Darn that hurts to laugh !!!!!!!
Surgery went very well. Had a LAVH and got to keep my ovaries. Woke up in recovery and was put in my room about an hour after that. I got lucky and got put in a birthing room in the Maternity Ward of the castle.....Lucky me !!!!!!! Not too much pain just uncomfortable from the incisions. I think the worst thing of all is the catheter.That thing is uncomfortable but that was taken out the next AM. All in all, I am glad it is over and I feel better. For all you ladies in waiting, dont worry, it isnt that bad. There is some pain but you will have your pain meds. I am on Percoset and "I love it". Works great !!!!!!!! Just wanted to share my experience with you all waiting...I was SCARED but made it through. Thank you to all the sisters for your support.

Glad to hear everything went well. Maternity ward -- hmmm....don't know how I'd feel about that.

I've heard of ladies being put in maternity wards afterwards. How ridiculous! Don't these hospital staff-people THINK?

Glad your surgery went well. Thanks for the encouragment. I'm not so much scared of the surgery as I am of the recovery.
