Ovulation Breast Tenderness ?

bikerchick...help! Okay I have the Arbonne cream but was told to do it for like 25 days or something and then to quit so I would get my period, now with having a TVH but with my ovaries in tact what is the dosage? My friend told me to apply it twice daily in soft tissue areas but I just don't know how many days to do it and how many I need to go without, any help you have would be much appreciated...KHP

had it the first time I had PMS after my surgery but this month I didn't notice it so bad. I think I'll start keeping a journal. I had one for the past 3 years of my period and now I don't have anything to write in it anymore

I just posted this info on another thread. I hope this helps. I use Evening Prim Rose Oil which is an omega 3 essential fatty acid. I buy Royal Brittany brand from the heath food store. I take 1500-2000mg of this per day & it really helps with breast tenderness & all the PMS symptoms. If you try it, it takes a few days to sometimes 3 wks to kick in, but once it does, its great. I have been using it faithfully now for 2 years & it helps w/ the mood swings & anxiety you get w/ PMS. Since using this, there have been months I have had no symptoms of PMS. (This is also recommended for women going through menopause.) I noticed a difference in about 5 days after taking it. Good luck.

Im 3 1/2 weeks post op and this just hit me last night. Ive never had much problem prior to hyst... guess it was the bcp's. So does this just happen for a few days monthly or more often? I go back this week for check up. I will try to ask MD about the cream!

Did your Dr tell you what to do? In general it is 3 weeks on, 1 week off for menopausal women, and 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off for ovulating women. This would be taking the last 2 weeks of the cycle (if you can figure that out still!) I am 41 and hit that perimenopausal state a year ago or so where I got breast tenderness the last 2 weeks of the cycle. The progesterone really helped for that. Now I don't get that anymore, but do retain water for 2 full weeks. So, I take it then. This still seems to be the trend since my LSH, so I am continuing. But I don't really see the difference for general water weight gain, so not very motivated! And searching for something to help that!
