TVH scheduled

I just got my surgery date today for a TVH......I wanted to keep my cervix soooo bad but wasn't able to. I am an emotional wreck, Its so final, its so soon......please pray for me to have the courage to face this without so much heartache. Thank you to everyone who helped me this far, you're in my thoughts and heart daily.

You will be fine! I was an emotional wreck the closer my date got! I had a TAH/BSO with cervix removed. I can tell you I'm doing wonderful! You will be fine, if you have any questions ask them - this website has helped me tremendously! Good Luck

Everything will be fine. I was a wreck too especially when I had my pre-op appt at the hospital. It seemed so real. I was really lucky I had to be at the hospital at 5am so there wasn't alot of thinking before hand. One suggestion is take some comfy clothes to wear in the castle. On day two I changed into some scrub pants(there are great & 3 weeks post op I still wear them) and a comfy shirt. I took a tank top and a light zipper hoodie. I just felt some much better in my clothes vs those darn hospital gowns. Good luck and I will pray for all my sister here.

everything will be okay..waiting is the hardest part

I had my TVH 12 days ago, and everything is fine. I am sure yours will be too! I was also a nervous wreck. I couldn't think about anything else. Now that I am post op, I am frustrated that I wasted so much time and energy worrying about the surgery. You will have a lot of sisters from this site praying for you!

Remember Phil 4:6-7 - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
