Hysterectomy: November 16th, 2012

Infected sutures

I am 12 data post Laproscopic supracervical hysterectomy and just saw my Dr 3 days ago & everything was great. Today I noticed that one of my incisions seemed a bit red & inflamed. Now it's hot to the touch...so I'm thinking its infected. I'm going to call the Dr tomorrow, do you think he'll put me on antibiotics?

Most likely if its infected. I had 2 incisions that got infected and was on a 7 day course of antibiotics. Good that your calling your dr.
