No Date: Pre op testing questions?

My Dr informed me yesterday that I need to have TVH in the next few weeks for severe prolapsed uterus and heavy prolonged periods. He performed an endometrial biopsy and I'm scheduled for a SIS ultrasound next Wed. Are these common procedures for pre op? Is it normal to have cramping and bleeding afterwards? What other pre op testing can I expect? My surgery date isn't scheduled yet but should be in just 2-3 weeks from what Dr said.

Pre-op testing can really vary with your particular case and doctor.

I had a complex ovarian cyst, and I had an ultra sound and MRI. I also had CA125 and OVA1 blood work.

Regarding the cramping and bleeding after a biopsy, I believe that is normal. But you may want to confirm with your doctor.
