Nothing simple;Pre-op

What a day yesterday. My husband meets for my appt. Good thing because it took 3 people, alcohol, tape, numerous tries, and half an hour to get one good EKG reading (hope good results). The problem was grease. I have extremely dry skin (ichthyosis) so I apply Vaseline Petroleum jelly daily. I also found a new oil--Neutrogena body oil. So with 2 coats of neutrogena, 1 coat of petroleum, and another of lotion the pads didn't stick too well. My paperwork was either loss or never sent from the surgeon's office. My doctor/geneticist is concern about the surgery plan. Both her and my surgeon wants me to have an anesthesiologist's consult. Tried at least 3 times to get a consultant without luck. The anesthesiologist thinks he seen this before; I tell him my connective tissue disorder. He can't even pronounce it and I know he's never heard of it. Seems most doctors act like they know but they don't understand this condition. So glad I have a little under 4 weeks to get things managed. I have been waiting for two years for this surgery. So many tests with lots of things wrong; I want the abdominal pains to end. Just think there are too many cooks in the kitchen.
