Re: Hysterectomy For suspected Adenomyosis*Kids mentioned

Thanks for all the responses, although I hate to know other people are and have been going thru this, it is nice to know I'm not alone. It is wonderful to hear of ladies getting their lives back after surgery

I think the scariest thing is to not know 100% that it is adenomyosis until after they've removed the uterus. My worst fear is that pathology comes back and it wasn't adeno I think my nerves are just getting the best of me right now and this morning I've woke up with really bad pain and it reminds me that I've hopefully only got a few more weeks of this to go!

I've been taking Visanne since a trip to ER due to pain. My GYN prescribed it for the pelvic pain, and it has helped some, although the side effects have not been much fun. Like I mentioned in my first post, I've never had super heavy bleeding, although the last six months I had alot of clots and I've always had long periods. The constant pain and pressure feels like being 9 months pregnant all the time and when the cramping starts it reminds me of contractions Here's to all of us getting relief

My bleeding wasn't horrible but the contraction like pains had my husband helping out of the tub when they hit. I did alot of research and I had all the adeno symptoms, enlarged uterus, painful stuff. I had the same worries and then I Thot, something's gotta give when it went to daily pain. I hear ya hang in there.

this was one of my fears as well. After much prayer I have come to peace that even if pathology comes back negative for adeno I will be at peace. but honestly inn my whole heart I am confident it is adeno. And I am ready to regain my life back!
