3 wks. post op

I am 3 wks. post op TAH dont see doc for 1 more wk. I was wondering when was everyone released for a bath? I have really missed soaking in a bath! Ive had crying spells even though still have ovaries(over nothing at all) LOL Sometimes a nice bath just makes everything seem much better! Thanks for all the support...I love having some place to vent and talk with others that know what Im going through!

hi, i was released to have a bath 8 days later at my first post op. i too find a great deal of comfort in a bath and i literalyycan stay in there for hours. my dr also said i could go swimming and i could go in the hotub!sooo i am also 3 weeks post TAH. a few months before my tah i had a d and c and i had to wait 6 weeks before a bath or hottub. same dr. so i have had a bath everyday i have put in a cup of plain epsom salts in usually.i have not had a hottub yet as my sil who owns it developed a rash.
