Dizziness

Hi. I am going on five days after surgery...Sometimes standing to use the bathroon I feel light headed..Is anyone else experience please assist..I dont want to call the DR. unless is necessary...

It's normal to feel lightheaded for several days after surgery. Standing slowly will help. If it gets worse, though, you probably ought to call.

I had it dizzyness too for about about on my second week of post op. Its normal as long as you dont feel is getting worse... best thing you can do is like the other ladies have said it to slowly get up ... give up body time to process your more. the doctor's say lake of activity leads to getting dizzy when u quickly stand up. Hope this helps.

Yes i had dizziness on day 9; just thought i could make it through. I fainted and now am recovering from both- the 8/10 surgery & a broken right hand. Be careful & take care of yourself
