Hi I'm new to the group I had my procedure done in April of 2012 because of a uterine prolapse but in still having a lot of pain with intercourse I have been back to my doctors several times and they just keep telling me its normal I really don't understand how can me being in pain normal can anyone help!

Sorry, gal, I'm not there yet. I'm only 2 weeks, so no thoughts about sex yet. Do you trust your doctor? Or do you need to get a second opinion? I'm so sorry it is painful!!!!

I am so sorry you are experiencing pain. Is it cuff related? Vaginal? Cramping? You might want to consider seeking out a new GYN for a second opinion. You should not be having pain this far out. I hope you get an answer soon. Best wishes.

Hi there. I would insist to your doctor that something isn't right. My TAH was at the end of March this year and I haven't experienced any pain so far.

Better yet, find a new doc who will listen to you.
