Upcoming hysterectomy for fibroids

I have 3 fibroids (one has grown into the wall) but the OBGYN said equal to 16 weeks. I just (re)scheduled my surgery (saving ovaries only) for mid August. I just started experiencing more pain, swelling and bleeding -- like my uterus and my fibroids know they are about to be gone and they are planning a last revolt on me. I've had a year to think about this surgery and at this point, I just want it done already.
