Vaginal Hysterestomy Recovery

Hi! I'm a teacher too. Tomorrow is the first day of school and I'm missing it! I go in for TVH possible BSO on Wednesday. My principal is pushing to see me back after 3 weeks (kind of joking, but serious). My Dr. said 4 to 6 weeks at least. Is that reasonable? I'm not worrying about my principal right now. I have to concentrate on getting ready for the surgery. But after I get home I anticipate having to deal with this. Suggestions?

i have had a vagnial hysterectomy were they removed my utris and tube and overy i was not allowed to do any lifting or sternus activity for 6 weeks after wards i had 4 small children at the time of sugery i had sent them to grandmas house for the first week . i was in the hospital 2 days. trust me u will need all the help and rest u can get the first few weeks .
