Re: 3 weeks post hysterectomy: Side sleeper

Sometimes being left alone can help you recover with a good nights sleep. It's still not completely comfortable. It is less discomfort on my back but I'm happier on my side so it can be worth the fuss to me. I hope DH knows they are still loved and will be able to cuddle back up soon.

yea I have noticed since I have been home that my hubby isn't as touchy feely as he used to be. He used to always cuddle with me at night and now he don't. He actually took my pillow pet yesterday and was cuddling with it, he said I'm pretending it's you. I was like but i'm right here. Like he is afraid to touch me for fear he will hurt me. And we always horse around in bed and wrestle and stuff and we can't do that right now cuz of me

At least he's home my husband works out of town and I get Sat. Night and most of Sun. With him. I tell him he gan give me upper torso hugs like around my shoulders. I know it's not the same, but soon we will feel better than before and they will get all the pent up love. It will be worth it so they can have us around for many more years to come.
