DaVinci 2 ays post-op

Had a DaVinci hysterectomy 2 days ago. Been taking Colace and Gas-x that my dr recommended. Still can't seem to shake the gas pains. How long will they last? My lower back and hips are hurting today now also. Maybe from my legs going in the stirrups during surgery?

Well I guess as it is with so many other things, how long things like gas pains vary person to person. Personally I'm a week out and still experiencing gas pains although it does seem to be getting better.

Hate to say it, but it's been a little over 3 weeks since my surgery, and I still have to take my gas meds occasionally. I know it's not food related because I'll feel it settle in places that are NOT my intestines! Hang in there. It does slowly get better.
