Any 7 weekers still out there?

This is my 7th week post op. All is well. I am back to doing my normal everyday routine. Feel like a new person. I have so much more energy than before and I guess that is due to Aunt Flo not coming. I hope everyone else is recovering well. Keep in touch!!

Any 7 weekers still out there?

Hi Sparky - i'll be 7 weeks on thursday.

Not quite so fortunate as you, it's taking me a while to get back to normal. Am gradually building up daily routine, but still get very tired and get twinges down my sides and in the scar line. Tummy still tender too.

Apart from headaches and eyepain, gradually getting there... My doc has signed me off work for another coupla weeks.

Glad to hear you are doing so well.

Any 7 weekers still out there?

I was 7 weeks on Monday. It has been a long haul and still not feeling quite up to par. I think my biggest downfall was developing an infection and a abcess 4 weeks post op. I'm doing better, but still tire easily. I am looking forward to feeling better than before.
Take care all and glad to hear its going well

Any 7 weekers still out there?

I'll be 7 weeks p/o tomorrow and I feel Soooooooooo much better that I have to stop and remind myself to NOT do some things - like lift up heavy stuff especially. For me, the 6th week was the real turning point where I felt human and had more energy. I still have to get a nap in the afternoon, but what a difference! Hang in there new sisters! You'll feel better soon!

Any 7 weekers still out there?

Hi, I'm 7 weeks too. Feeling pretty good, trying to remember not to overdo stuff, but my tummy reminds me. I am back to work full time, do get tired at the end of the day but I think that is due to the hot flashes --that are easy to deal with during the day, but them waking me up at night is no fun. DH put in a ceiling fan & leaves the sliding glass door open ( he bundles under the covers). Some headaches remain, but all in all this is so much better than the pain before surgery!!!

Any 7 weekers still out there?

I was 7 weeks on Monday. I would be great if I didn't still look like I have swallowed a basket ball. I went for a gastroscopy today and I do have some mini-ulcers. In 2 weeks I will get the biopsy results and then hopefully I will know more.
I hope that everyone just keeps getting better and better with each passing day!

Any 7 weekers still out there?

I was 7 weeks this past Monday. I'm back at work full time. For the most part, I feel fine. I wake up feeling pretty good and then I go all out for about 2 hours and my body reminds me that I still need to rest.

I went grocery shopping for the first time the other day by myself. I was fine until I had to pick up the big container of cat litter, then I decided that I might need some help in lifting.

The incision looks good and my internal pains have died down for the most part. I think for the most part it's just that I get tired soooo easy.

Hope everyone is doing well!!!
