Hugs, Sue
And then you won't be able to take every one's kids so they can get a "break" or whatever! Hang in there and Rest, rest, rest some more.

Oh, and direct DH to the 'mister's' portion of the site. It did wonders for mine. Let him know what to expect!

Blessings,
Theresa

I think it's normal how youre feeling.

I also think youre being hard on yourself. And I think you are doing too much. But you know what you can handle. I want to give you a big hug and I hope that you feel better soon.

We ARE our own worst critics... why is that?

I second the wise words of crampfree123:

I think that we tend to be the hardest on ourselves, and expect more of ourselves than we would of anyone else. I don't know why that is, but I think that we should consider giving ourselves some breaks... especially when we are recovering or otherwise not feeling good.

Finally frustrated ...

I had my TVH on 9/26 and ended up with a secondary infection only days after my surgery. Now a week later they know what the infection really is. But I too, have a family that expects me on my feet NOW. And as I read your posts I worry about my health too. I am like you. I can't say no. I run a home day care and the parents are like "well where am I gonna put my kids?" I would love to tell them off, but I can't afford to lose these kids as they are my source of income right now. I watch 5 children and one of the children is 1 and weighs 30 lbs. I am afraid that he will do damage to me if any of them will. I wish I could take the advice from the girls and pamper myself. However, I have to subject myself to a full time job at only two weeks post op. But I will be not doing a whole lot at nite for some time. I really regret doing the daycare now. THanks for letting me vent!!! I just hope I am not one of the ones we all hear about.
