LAVH: Still 2 months away

Yeah I understand. I don't talk about this with a lot of people either. This site is a huge help for me.

I understand the long wait mine has been pushed back four time. We are now firmly set on the 7th of Sept. So, far I've been waiting three months with one month left to go. I'm miserable though. I can't wait to feel normal again.

I had a long wait before as well. I used that time to cook and freeze 3 weeks worth of meals that i would just pop in the microwave. Cooking and.or worrying about meals are the last thing that you want to do during the early weeks of your healing.

My surgery is on 18 August...it's been booked since June...the wait seemed like a really long time...but it's rolled around so quickly! The best thing you can do is hang out around here - there's lots of good advice...and with surgery being a while away for you, it means you will get some great tips well in advance and be well prepared before you go in for surgery.
