40 days post op tah kept both ovaries

Hi...im 40 yrs old...Well I had my hysterectomy and it was rough. The site started to get infected...i live on 2nd floor so that was rough in itself. So here i am 40 days later...ive started feeling a pulling on my right side...it kinda makes my stomach ache when i urinate. I experience moments when i get really hot even when it's cold...the other night was truly a bad hotflash ..i was standing in the bathroom and started feeling HOT i lookedn mirror and my neck and face were red. I was sweating profusely to the point i had to open the sliding door and sit on the couch ..my heart was pounding. After bout five min i started feeling better. I am not sure if i need to get some estroven...but between these hot flashes minimal weight gain even though I've changed my diet for the better And mild mood swings....i dunno what's going on.

Hi, I'm the same age as you and had my hyster in the same week! You could be experiencing these symptoms temporarily. Our ovaries can get " sleepy " for a few months post hyster . I've woken up HOT and my mood has been worse than it was before periods lol. Definitely worth asking your dr, but hopefully this is just short term.
