TLH: Surgery tomorrow period started

It's like one last kick. I have fibroids 16 week uterus and guess what my period is early a week early. Will this effect surgery in any way. My guess is know because with fibroids you can bleed all the time like my sister was but my luck ...

It shouldn't affect your surgery at all. It's your last one!!! Congrats for that!

My Dr. just asked that I call if mine started before surgery. She said it didnt matter but that her team just appreciated the heads up.

I almost feel like these surgeries get scheduled when your period is going to show. Mine showed up a few days before surgery too! I was mortified and tried to cancel my surgery lol my doctor told me it's more abnormal to NOT be bleeding as the majority of patients she sees tend to get surgery due to constant bleeding. It's a Murphy's law or something I'm sure of it cheers that is your last period and good luck!!
