I want my surgery!

My hys. is supposed to be on Tue. 25th, but I have bronchitis/fever. This had to be reschduled 2 times already because of this . And each time about a week before, I end up sick. I GET MENTALLY READY AND THEN BOOM!
Don't know how much longer I can stand this!
My surgeon won't do it if I have a fever.*

Gosh, it sounds like you are having a tough time with this. Waiting is the worst part. Are you seeing a dr. for your bronchitis? I would just really baby myself between now and your surgery date. And try not to stress, it can get your immune system down. Easy to say, huh? When everyone of us is sooooo...... stressed out over our mutual surgeries. Good luck.

If you go to the Dr and get an antibiotic for the bronchitis you should be OK by your surgery date. I had a sinus infection and was taking anitbiotics when I went in.

I have been taking antibiotics for about 6 days, but so far its justing getting worse and my date is a week from today.
With my track record it don't look good. Last time (abot 2 mths ago) I had to take 3 rounds of antibiotics, steroids,plus an antibiotic shot and a steroid shot.
I don't know why but when I get something that effects my lungs, it wants to stay there. I don't smoke and no one in my home does either, but I have asthma.

WOW! Bless your heart. That just stinks. I would say if it's getting worse to call back and see if they can give you a stronger antibiotic...or even go ahead with the shot if you have to. Beg if you must! I assume they know you are having surgery and that you really don't want to have to cancel again.

I hope things clear up enough for you to go ahead with your hyst. I will say a prayer for you.
