You told me so!!

Hi Sisters, this is jj4a, The one that was feeling so great and doing so much. Well last night I had pain in my abdomen, (I had a LAVH) I never had this pain before. when I got up this morning to go to the bathroom ,There was bright red blood. now I'm scared. I have had a little pinkish dishcharge off and on ,but nothing like this bright red blood.
I feel so stupid! How I wish I would of posted my question"Am i overdoing it?" earlier.
Could i have done some real damage? My pain is gone but the bleeding is still there. not so much that I am soaking a pad just spotting.
any thoughts? (besides, "I TOLD YOU SO!!!" HA,HA!!)
thanks,JJ4a

Hi jj4a,

You won't get an "I TOLD YOU SO" from me, I did the same thing, bad that we are!

I recomend calling your DR before it's to late and you sit and "wonder" all weekend, again, just like I did. It's worth the piece of mind!

Best of luck to you and let us know how you are doing!

If it's just spotting (not a gush or soaking a pad), then it's probably part of the healing. You might have popped a stitch because of all your activity. I had my surgery 1 day before you did and posted this same question last weekend. Take a look. The ladies here had some reassuring answers.

If in doubt though, call your doctor.

JJ,

Yes, I did have some spotting, not a lot just enough to need to wear a pad or liner with.

I would definitely call my Dr just for peace of mind. That's what they are there for. It's probably nothing, but in my opinion, it's best to err on the side of caution. I know I've had a really hard time just doing "nothing" and my house definitely reflects it. DH is trying but he just doesn't get with 5 boys, you HAVE to clean the bathrooms weekly. (It's been over 2 wks and is taking all my will power not to go in and clean them!!!) Hang in there and rest, rest, rest!

Danger,

I completely agree with you! And having 4 DS's and a DH (does that count as 5 boys ) I know JUST where you are coming from! I have limited them ALL to 1 bathroom in the house this way I don't (or DH doesn't) have to clean the other 2.
