I think this is the right abbreviation for it... yes Iam having an abdominal hysterectomy, they are taking my one remaining ovary, but are leaving my cervix. I had my left ovary removed 28 years ago when I had my tubal ligation at the age of 19.
I am allergic to so many pain medications that I worry that I will not be able to take anything that will stop the pain for me, Vicodin is about the only thing that I know of that I can take without having an allergic reaction to it.
I will be having a spinal for my surgery also, as I can not undergo general anesthesia... I will be having versaid administered so that I can hopefully not remember any of the surgery.
I have had the versaid used before and liked the results, as I did not wake up all fuzzy and disoriented from the proceedure afterwards.
