Question about Swelly Belly Band

Hi Everyone,
I purchased a swelly belly band from the HysterSister site. Yes it's wonderful...it gives almost instant relief and fantastic support. It really helps with my posture and when sitting in the car BUT when I wear it whether it's under my clothes or on top everything gets so wet! Am I doing something wrong? I can't be without this great product but some advice would be welcome.
Thanks Justine2006.

Question about Swelly Belly Band

The directions say you can wrap it in plastic wrap to keep your clothes from getting wet. I did that, it worked great, but then you don't really want all of that under your clothes, but it worked great for home.Hope this helps

Question about Swelly Belly Band

I wear mine only in the house. The support is wonderful. But I think it is to bulky to wear under pants. It is an at home product. And great for the first few weeks after your operation.

Question about Swelly Belly Band

I had simular problems. I tried it shortly after my TAH, my Dr said to keep my incision dry so I wrapped it in plastic like suggested, but the water still dripped. I am wondering if it is best to just freeze?
I would also love suggestions from those who use it more regularly, I am 15 days post op and incision is really starting to itch and stuff.

Question about Swelly Belly Band

I drain mine on a towel and blot it. Then I string it through a clean bread bag (or those bags that you get your newspaper in on a rain day) that has a hole cut in the end. It works really, really well for me that way. It doesn't cool as much when wrapped up, but it still gives excellent support. I couldn't do without mine in the car.
