Queasiness on day 17 days postop

My RALH/Bso was September 29. I am on Vivelle .1 patch. I've been feeling pretty good and don't know if I am overdoing things or if the hormone issue is bothering me. I feel good in the morning but by afternoon begin to feel queasy. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm off pain pills and only taking Advil or naproxen for pain.

Thanks ladies. Hope everyone is recovering well.

Peace
Amy

Re: Queasiness on day 17 days postop

Yes, I did experience some queasiness off an on for several months after the surgery. It can be caused by different things, so I would suggest mentioning it to your doctor next time you go in. Sooner, if it gets worse. Mine was a problem getting my hormone replacement adjusted to the level I needed, but that issue was addressed by my doctor, who was great about guiding me through it.

Sometimes taking Advil or Naproxen can cause nausea and stomach pain. Make sure to take them with food.

Re: Queasiness on day 17 days postop

I'm feeling queasy 6 days post-op.

I've been off the narcotics for 3 days, and I feel a bit nauseous, esp after eating, or when watching a "shaky camera" TV program.

I'm on nothing but Tylenol, except for 1 important difference: I'm taking stool softeners. I think they could be to blame, since they are basically mild laxatives, and the cleansing laxatives before surgery made me incredibly nauseous.

Maybe that is what it is?
