I'm a Princess :)
Hi everyone...
Just a little note to let you all know I am home from hospital. I have been for a couple of days.
All went pretty well! I found the first few hours quite difficult, and the next day tough too, but after that I found things moved on quite rapidly. Each day small milestones were made, which I found quite scary but amazing at the same time. I managed to walk a great deal at the hospital which helped with discomfort ~ especially from the gas!!! ~ and gave me confidence and encouraged me. I also did stairs by day 3. My first pee was a major event *g* as was *blush* my first bowel movement *bows*
I am having moments where I feel real good and then less good moments...and then I go and rest and remember why I did this thing!!! That said, I am feeling *very* positive about the future, so much looking forward to no more pain-filled period days!!! The pain I have had with periods...is much worst than my bad moments right now....so I am thrilled
It is wonderful to be home....I feel so much more relaxed than I did in hospital!!
Thanks everyone for all your support so far!
Kathy

, I would tell you to take a bow but that probably is not a good idea.
It's nice to know you are doing so well.

Hiya!!!
Im so pleased your having a fairly good experince really, you sound very sort of calm and like your making the most of the experience, I think your very brave and I really hope my op goes as well as yours obviously has (im on the 19th sept).
Make sure you rest enough and dont over do things, take care and let us all know how your getting on.
Lots of love
