Possibly dangerous medication interaction

Hello, I just thought I would mention a possibly life threatening drug interaction. I take tizanidine(generic zanaflex, I think) - a muscle relaxer that helps me sleep. I got a urinary tract infection and was prescribed cipro. I have been through this three or four times, but totally forgot these medications CANNOT be taken together safely. I felt really out of it last night, overly sleepy, such that it was hard to walk to the bathroom. My blood pressure was in the range of 70/40 or less. I had to sleep sitting up(after drinking coffee and taking a decongestant to bring it up to 90/55 or so-when I felt I could go to sleep and actually wake up again).
When taken together- and not necessarily at the exact same time, they can cause a drastic drop in blood pressure that can be life threatening. If this is in the wrong section, I am sorry. I just felt it was important enough to let people know, especially with how many of us get a uti after our hysterectomies.
