Post operative temperatures

Has anyone experienced recurrent temperatures after the operation? Would like to know how long this will go on for. Have already returned to the hosp once (an additional 9 days) and am dreading another visit. Get well soon everyone. S

Hi, I have had similar issues with temp but luckily not too bad of late - what sort of temperature are we talking about in terms of degrees? Mine seems to hover around 38 deg C but I am taking codeine, pandadol and anti-inflams still due to ongoing issues (so slightly controlled, I think?). I can understand your apprehension towards the hospital but if you are unwell, it is the best place to be. Take care and hugs.

Well I have now had two days without temperatures and am over the moon. Hope yours don't re-occur but as you implied to me, if they do you should tell your doctor. Codeine, panadol etc do reduce them so you're not dealing with the problem. Listen to me, easy to give advice, not so easy to take it. Be well and hugs
