questions on pain

I had tah 1 week ago and my incision itches but is not really painfull. My pain is around my pubic bone and up by my hips and sides. It is an achy pain and sharp pain. Is this what other have experienced?

I had something similar around that time. I was told there are many stitches inside of me that can cause those kind of pains, and also you are compensating for the lack of use of your stomach muscles, and using different groups and in a way you haven't before. These cause other aches and pains, even sharp ones. Not ony that but you have a lot of swelling and deeper bruising going on inside of you.

Hi Sinh! Yes, I've experienced the same thing....about day 8 post op. I had been sick (vomiting) and the doctors diagnosed pulled muscles or overusing those muscles instead of the ones in front that you would normally use. I thought I had pulled internal stitches loose, but the doctor assured me that I didn't have stitches there. If you are not sure or uncomfortable, please contact your doctor.

I've had intense burning at the base of my spine - feels muscular, but I actually reached around on the seat to see if anything was there burning me! It just happened this morning as I went for a ride in a car for the 2nd time since discharge.
