I survived the dreaded endo biopsy!

Hey ladies, just to let you know I had my endo biopsy today. Piece of cake! I took a 1/2 a Vicodin before and had some cramping after, but nothing compared to what I've had with my period. Shoot, if only!

Also, I had my hysterectomy class today. Okay, what a joke----they should just call it surgery class. It lasted about an hour and was more about preparing for surgery, pain management, and what not to do post-op. This site has prepared me more than anything I got from the class.

Oh, I did also find out that I don't have to remove my acrylic nails. YEA!!!!! As a matter of fact, I can even wear nail polish, as long as it's not dark or metallic. So, I guess it was informative after all.

I'm very glad your biopsy wasn't bad - it's always nice to have something turn out to be less painful than you thought it might be!!

I'm impressed that your hospital gives a class on what to expect!! You know, HS has printable fliers that you could bring to the hospital to hand out at their next hysterectomy class, if you have a chance to do it.

I didn't find HS until the night before my surgery and had a very uncommunicative doctor, so most of what I learned, I learned post-op right here. I'm glad you found HS before your hyst.
