2 day home after hysterectomy surgery.

I came home from yesterday from the hospital. I a doing really great after my surgery this past Tuesday. I am recoverering at my mom and dad's house's I am sleeping very good.

I had my surgery on Monday , I too am doing well so far but from what I get from everyone's posts here don't take advantage of feeling good and over do it. I don't know why I thought recovery would be easy since my appendectomy recover was cake. Let me tell you- no where near the same .. I am having to force myself to let my husband and kids clean cook and do everything else for me and it's driving me crazy because I am the one who does it all. Please relax and recover , don't over do it. I was feeling good yesterday and went to the store with my husband and although I didn't do anything and rode the electric scooter I was absolutely exhausted and started light bleeding which totally scared me. Won't be doing that again for a while. Please take care of yourself - best wishes on your recovery

I agree, You may feel great, but don't let things fool you. You still have just had major surgery and you need to take the time to recover and not over do!
