Backache woes
Hello everyone! After 5 months of debating the doctor is giving me the sign for a hyst... Originally the plan was an ablation to stop heavy bleeding but I turned the offer down to wait and see what the pills and how the cyst is doing. The bleeding was regulated, thank goodness, but the cramping is more of an everyday or every other day event. I added lightheadedness again to the list of problems and now this week splitting headaches. I still work full time but the more I need to rest on my off days makes me think a November surgery will be best. I have a few tests still out but will plan out the details at the next visit. Nervous but ready to stop the pain.
One question though, is pain in the back on the right side also normal to the situation?
Any input would be helpful!

Hi, I can't answer your question about the back pain. I have some but it's caused by arthritis. Please talk to your dr about yours. He/she should be best able to determine it's cause.
Best wishes with all your decisions, I know that it's a difficult thing to be faced with. Take your time, do the research and discuss all of your questions and choices with your dr. Together you should be able to decide what's best for you.

Backache woes
Hi,
I can only speak from my personal experience but I have had relentless lower back pain for months now. Sometimes it's just low and achy and other times it's like a mule kick that takes my breath away. Aleve helps me but definately does not last all day...maybe 3-4 hours then the pain is back.
I have multiple fibroids. My Dr. is into sports metaphors. He says I have one softball, two tennis balls and a handfull of golfballs. Apparently, my uterus has been turned into a gym locker...
My surgery is scheduled for next week and I am really looking forward to some relief. I hope you get some soon too.
Take care,
Peggy

Backache woes
I have been experiencing lower back pain and sciatica off and on for 2 years, but had no idea that it might be related to my fibroids until my doc pointed it out. In my case, since I have uterus size of a 6 month pregnancy, all of the extra weight and size that I am carrying around might be the cause of lower back strain. You might want to give your doc a call and see if there is anything they can give you to help with the pain. Good luck and I hope your pain is relieved soon.
