Muffin top!

Julie, I hear you, what IS this muffin top? I know I had to lose 10 pounds before the surgery, but I was alway able to tuck my shirts into my trousers! I have no idea what I'm going to wear to work (much less how I'm going to get a pair of panty hose on and keep them on all day)- I wear suits and participate in a lot of executive functions, and darned if I'm going to buy new stuff to wear because of this "droop" to my crotch!!!
I guess I'll pull out all my belts and throw them on over sweaters and suit jackets.....but I still can't imagine the panty hose

Muffin top!

Nancyburtz, they have great thigh high stockings with comfy elastic at the top, get a size bigger and they are even more comfy. GOOD LUCK

Muffin top!

I am 7 weeks out and still have the muffin top / swelly belly. I, too, was starting to worry about it. Glad to hear that it eventually goes away, but it does make it difficult to wear "real" clothes. I am one of the ones that has been wearing maternity pants, when I can't wear sweats. The surface of my whole abdominal area is still really sore to the touch and I am not comfortable wearing anything that has a button/hook and zipper.
