i will be so glad...

...to feel up to being on here more than a few minutes at a time...hehe.. i miss this place...
i am doing better each day but i still am having to take my pain med every 4 hours to stay on top of it. had been having horrible mornings and figured it was because i was missing a pain pill in the night and would take two or three doses to get it back in my system as i would feel somewhat better by 2 in the afternoon. this morning was better but i still am not getting much past 4 hours on the pain pill. i read on here yesterday and feel like a woos cause so many of ya are not taking much... but i AM allergic to pain... lol...
i still have not had any hot flashes or mental break downs or even any drainage. thinking the mental part has been due to my wonderful husband who has been taking such good care of me. how could i have doubted him? i am laying around alot, walking too but staying put for the most part and using my frozen peas often. they have been a good idea, seem to help more than the heating pad. my lower back still bothers me but not as much today as in days past and i am having bad rectal pain...not constipated as the MOM takes care of that...
my appetite has gone down the drain, i am not drinking coffee like i used to... used to have several cups a morning and have only been having less than one... but a big plus is that i also am not smoking...well, not much, have only had three today and am not even craving them...
am dreading the car ride to the doctor tomorrow. it is an hour away, he is on the 2nd floor so will prolly make dh get a wheel chair... dont think i can make it that far... hour drive home and a stop at wal mart for dh to get a few things... am sure i will be glad to see the bed when i get back...

I'm a hard-core drinker, and I couldn't touch it for the first two weeks after my surgery. I'm not sure why (medication? anesthesia? lying down all the time?), but after a couple weeks I was suddenly interested in it again.

I hope your trip to the doctor goes well (both the appointment and the trip itself!) and that you start to feel positive strides in your recovery.
