Hormonal and bored

I was taking BC pills up until the day before surgery 3/28. I think I'm having a "period" on top of being achy and bored. Do you all still get PMS type symptoms? Never took any pain meds and I feel just fine sitting in bed. So I start thinking about the things I could be doing and I get out of bed, take a few steps and realize I'm definitely still healing, take a small walk around and then get back in bed. I thought by today, when my mom left, that I would be doing great. Guess I was off by a week! If I'd just had the lap incisions, I'd be great but since they had to open half of my old c-section scar, I'm a little slower than I thought I'd be. Everyone keeps telling me that it just takes time. It's only been 4 days and I know it will take a while for my body to heal but I'm having a hard time being patient! Anyone else?

Hormonal and bored

Nearing the 2 week mark post op and I am going completely stir crazy.
My first outing was yesterday to the doc to have an incision looked at.

I am tired of sitting, laying down, walking, and drinking water.
I've gone off coffee, miss my tea, and tired of going to pee every 2 hrs on the 2 hr mark. I would like to sleep a full 6 hrs but lucky to manage 2-4.

Trust me, you aren't the only impatient one *LMAO*

Pace yourself.
Healing right the first time means you get better faster.
Messing up can cause a longer healing time.

I keep telling myself that....

Can you have decaf tea? If you soak a regular tea bag for about a minute in about an inch of water of boiling water, dump it out and then make a cup of tea, the majority of the caffeine is gone. I would go crazy without my cups of tea!!! Of course I can't drink caffeine with the bladder issues and all.

At 2 weeks, how are you feeling? Any pain?
