Odd things with face post op; update

Hello! I am 7 days post op. Doing alright. I was sent home with 40 percs and they're gone. I had an abdominal hysterectomy and I was let out of hospital the next day. I don't recommend this! I had the on call doctor call. Pain meds did NOTHING! It was terrible. I wanted the epidural but there apparently is a nationwide shortage! I woke up crying and almost in shock. It was absolutely the worst experience ever! BUT, I'm hoping it was worth it. I'm excited about being healed and being able to enjoy life pain free. Sit at my daughters' sporting events and concentrate on them instead of thee pain. I do have one question though. Since I've been home I've noticed these skin tag like things on my face. They're not real noticeable, but weird! Anyone else experience this? Strange!

Re: Odd things with face post op; update

Wow! I can't imagine leaving the hospital that soon after my surgery. I was 4 days, and was glad to go home, but was also glad to be there for the time I was in. At least at the hospital, there were no expectations, so all I had to do was sleep.

I have no idea what the skin tags might be. I would talk to the doctor to make sure that you haven't has a reaction to something in the hospital or to medications that you have been taking.

I am glad that you are able to look forward to the benefits you can now experience as a result of your surgery. Take care!
