Time To Rejoice

Yes and no, I am ready to be out of pain but I am so nervous and scared that I am thinking about backing out,but I know that I have to get it done to be there for my kids and to get my life back. Just wish I had someone to be with me during the waiting to go into surgery

Time To Rejoice

Ladies, my hysterectomy was on July 23rd. I was just thinking this morning that my period would be due in just a few days. Normally I would have already been spotting for a week or more- cramps would be unbearable- and my head would be hurting- I always got a migraine along with my period. I still can't believe that all of that is over- it is incredible! I just can't tell you all enough how glad I am that I didn't chicken out. I have been saying since the day after my surgery that I should have done this years ago. I know everyone is different, but the pain that I experienced after surgery was no worse that the pain that I have experienced every month. Plus, they give you good drugs for that pain. Within a couple of days I was in no pain unless I was moving around. Cramps hurt even if you are sitting still!

Good Luck with your surgeries- I hope all of you have a wonderful recovery.
